Types of Specialty Coatings

Specialty Coatings

Specialty coatings can be used on almost any surface. Some epoxies can even cure under water. Liquid rubber coatings can be used to protect many surfaces and will give you a seamless finish in almost any color. Polyurea can be applied to just about any surface and provide a water tight chemical resistant finish to the surface.

Epoxy Coatings

Epoxy coatings are resistant to UV rays and water proof. Another advantage of epoxy coatings is, they do not need to be heat cured like other solutions such as powder coats. Because epoxy coatings are water proof they are a popular choice for factories.

Rubber Coatings

Rubber coatings such as liquid rubber are water proof and bond well with just about any surface surface. Liquid rubber can be matched to the color you need and it can be applied up to 6 times thicker than traditional rubber coatings. Liquid rubber is highly flexible and forms a strong bond to what it is applied. Liquid rubber can be used with water, alcohol, polar compounds, salts and most acids up to 50%.

Protective Coatings

Protective coatings such as polyurea are typically applied over concrete or steal, to protect against corrosion and erosion. Polyurea can also be used as a joint fill because it is fast drying, durable and flexible. Polyurea also can be used to coat roofs, depending on the color and reflectivity could give you a cool roof" energy star rating. Polyurea will provide a seamless finish regardless of where it is used.
