What is Foam Insulation?
Spray foam insulation is used for sealing ceiling areas, walls and under floors in businesses and residential housing. Special equipment is used to spray this product into areas to be insulated. It is sprayed as a liquid which enables it to reach areas conventional insulation can not penetrate. After the insulation is sprayed, it expands too completely fill the voids. This not only helps to insure you get the highest R-value result. Spray foam also seals the target area at the same time. Spray foam insulation does not shrink, sag or settle. Spray foam insulation will inhibit mold because it doesn't absorb water.
Spray foam insulation is ideal for areas surrounding outlets and steel framing. Spray foam seals all openings, so pest control is no longer an issue for your structure.
